Sarah-Vyne Vassallo

Sarah-Vyne is a creative producer, choreographer and arts manager and has worked in commercial and contemporary dance, theatre, television, film and community arts for close to two decades.  Throughout her diverse career she has worked with companies such as: Sydney Festival, Critical Path, DirtyFeet, youMove Company, Ausdance NSW, FORM Dance Projects, Campbelltown Arts Centre, Shaun Parker and Co, Sidetrack Theatre Company, Disney, ABC, Shorter and Sweeter National Tour and The Australian’s Girls Choir. For 3 consecutive years she was a recipient of the SCOPE program supported by the Australian Council for the Arts and Ausdance National.

Sarah-Vyne is currently the Arts Development officer for Accessible Arts and is responsible for strengthening foundations and networks for artists with a disability, through consulting with the arts and disability sectors to advocate and develop quality performing arts projects. Within her role she has managed programs for Arts NSW, Aging Disability and Home Care, and consulted for Kaldor Public Art Projects, Sydney Opera House, Museum of Contemporary Art, Australian Theatre for Young People, Powerhouse Youth Theatre and Orange Regional Conservatorium.

Sarah-Vyne has most recently been awarded a Winston Churchill Fellowship for her research into integrated dance practices for people with and without disabilities. Her study tour will take her to the United Kingdom, San Francisco and New York City.
