Annalouise Paul

Annalouise Paul has worked in London, Los Angeles and Australia for  over two and a half decades creating and performing in theatre,  opera, film, television, education and community projects. She  graduated from the Laban Centre, London in contemporary dance and  studied flamenco with maestros in Spain, Sydney and London. She  presented a double-bill season 'Conversations in Rhythm + Dance' in  2008 with support from Australia Council and Arts NSW and has  received research and development funding from Critical Path,  Margaret Farm Residency, Penrith and Parramatta Councils, London  Greater Arts and Greenwich Arts Council (UK). In Los Angeles, she  was assistant choreographer on 'True Lies' starring Arnold  Schwarzenegger, danced for Michael Jackson, Simply Red, The Pogues   and Gipsy Kings and for choreographers  Bill T. Jones, Antonio  Vargas, Aletta Collins and Karole Armtiage.  Annalouise performed  
with Ben Walsh on junk percussion at the Australian Dance Awards in  2005. Currently, she is creating a new work on an Artist-In-Schools  Residency, for Australia Council,  ConnectEd and DET and will be  guest choreographer-lecturer at Maquarie University in 2010.
