Calista Sinclair

Calista managed to escape a fate in the legal profession by running away to join the circus in Paris; where she danced with Cirque Bouglione at the beautiful Cirque D' Hiver. She graduated from the Lecoq School, Paris, in theatre and scenography and with a BA First Class Hons in Performance Studies at Sydney University. As a dancer and actor Calista has worked with Australian artists including Legs on the Wall, Urban Theatre Projects, Dean Walsh and Vicki Van Hout. Calista co-founded DirtyFeet in 2005. She directed, choreographed and designed several works including Spaced In, SOS, Crossing Sydney and Moving Monuments in Sydney and was awarded a choreographic residency at Critical Path. In 2007, she was the assistant to Philippe Genty during the creation of Boliloc. Calista is currently playing the role of Bernard in Reality or Illusion with Eric Antoine in its Paris season at the Theatre Trevise and can be seen in the current season of La Grosse Emission on France‚s Comedy channel.
