Holly Harrison

Holly began her training at the age of three at Farrell Academy of Dance. At the age of 17 she was accepted into the Victorian College of the Arts where she undertook a three-year Bachelor of Dance degree. During this time Holly worked with renowned choreographers including; Helen Herbertson, Stephanie Lake, Wendy Houston, Brett Daffy, Rebecca Hilton and Anna Smith. During her time at VCA she participated in international company workshops including the Hofesh Shechter Master classes in Melbourne and Sydney as well as Batsheva Dance Company Workshops. Holly was involved in Options Dance Festival in Adelaide and the Dance Compass program in Sydney. Upon graduating from VCA Holly undertook secondments with Narelle Benjamin, Dance North, Tasdance and was an active participant in the ADT summer intensive program.

She was a lead dancer in Drill Performance Company’s 'Primal Dust' in Tasmania 2011. Later that year she travelled to the UK performing in the York Spring Festival and was a part of a site specific performance called 'Native'. In order to further develop her knowledge and experience in Contemporary Dance she travelled around Europe participating in many company classes and workshops including Deltebre Dansa Festival in Spain.

Holly is currently teaching contemporary classes at KRS studio and the NSW State Dance Company.
