Having started at my local dance school at the age of four and a half, dance is now thoroughly incorporated into my life. At Nottingham Theatre Dance School, I studied IDTA Ballet to Advanced 2 and Modern Jazz up to Advanced 1. At school I was very lucky to have a very involved dance teacher and between the ages of 13-16, I was fortunate enough to work with companies and choreographers such as Central School of Ballet, Phoenix Dance Company, Niall McMahon, Sharon Watson and Northern Ballet Theatre. Having completed my GCSE and A level in Dance to an A and B, respectively, I found that the only natural progression was to go on to do my degree at Roehampton University, London.

Whilst at Roehampton, I involved myself with every aspect of the course. In my third year I co-ran the third year dance company, Third Row Dance Company and successfully organised three choreographers to work with us.

At University I took classes in Ballet, Limon, Cunningham, Release, Graham, Contact Improvisation, Choreography and Philosophy and Aesthetics. I excelled in Limon and Improvisation because I loved them. I enjoy learning new things and collaborating with people.
